Dear GitHub,

Let me start off by saying that I try to be the big supporter of GitHub that I can. I've bought silly and mostly useless things from the GitHub store, I actively promote the product to friends and colleagues and I really just enjoy using GitHub. It's a fantastic product. I've got a problem though. I don't like storing my code on someone else's systems. It's probably the control freak in me, I can't help it. I want to pay you to use GitHub Enterprise, however, at the minimum price of $5,000 a year, it's just way out of my budget. I'm a 2 person development team, I probably don't take advantage of nearly half of what it has to offer, but it just works so darn well for my development workflow. I don't want to be using GitHub Enterprise unauthorized, but it's the only way I'm able to be productive and get things done. I know you like pushing people to just use GitHub.com, but it just won't cut it for me, remember, I'm a control freak. I need to have control of the hardware that stores my precious code.

I don't require any sort of support, I know my way around the Enterprise software enough to figure things out on my own. I've been poking and prodding at GitHub Enterprise since the 11.x days. In fact, I just found some old issues that have date stamps of 2013. I hadn't even realized I'd been using it since then. Seriously though, if I break it, I support it myself. I have no right to bother you guys, and I'm totally cool with that!

Please, for the sake of tossing some cash your way, let me pay you guys $100 a year, please. Why would you say no to money?! Who says no to money?!

Thanks,
